TANK SET UP REMINDERS
Most schools are now on a system using minimum gravel (1/2 cup) which is removed when the fry swim up and begin feeding. Food and feces are visible and easy to vacuum out. This helps keep the tank clean and free of ammonia.
To help the tank look more natural, place the vinyl image underneath the bottom glass.
HOW IT WORKS…
Turn the tank upside down.
Trim the vinyl to fit flat on the bottom underside of the tank.
Spread 1/4 cup of oil (vegetable is fine) on the image then squeegee this onto the glass so the image is visible when looking into the tank.
Wipe off any excess oil, then tape the edges so it doesn’t curl.
Turn the tank right side up and continue setting up.
